Claudia Moya, MPH
Project Manager, Chief of Staff
Claudia Moya serves as the Project Manager to the Chief of Staff. She supports annual strategic planning, donor management, and internal communications.
Before joining CHAMPS, Moya worked in Honduras with Global Brigades as a Global Health Program Associate for two years. She supported the development of medical/dental programs, coordinated in-country logistics for volunteers, and assisted on community-based initiatives, including a community health worker program. From 2015–2017, Moya worked on CARE’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Human Rights team. At CARE, she collaborated with West African and Pakistani leaders on developing culturally-relevant community engagement approaches, revised data collection tools, and summarized key findings. Moya was an Emory graduate teaching assistant for an introductory global health course where she mentored public health students, facilitated class workshops, and supported curriculum development.
Moya is a proud anteater alumna from the University of California - Irvine where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Public Health Policy in 2012. She holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health with a concentration in Community Health and Development from Emory University.
