Dr Elizabeth M. Rabold

Director of Clinical Sciences

Dr. Rabold is a physician–epidemiologist with extensive experience supporting global health programs, including HIV and maternal and child health initiatives across PEPFAR-supported countries at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has focused on prevention of vertical transmission of HIV, early infant diagnosis and treatment initiation, and strengthening birth defects surveillance, using data to inform program strategy across sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean.

Dr. Rabold has contributed to numerous publications and presentations on pediatric HIV, outbreak response, and surveillance systems. A graduate of the CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service, she holds an MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH from Emory University.
